Logto adds multi-tenancy, enterprise SSO, and RBAC to SaaS and AI apps with OIDC and OAuth 2.1 made simple and developer-friendly.
What we know
- What are tokens and how are they related to MAU?
- Logto adopts token-based authentication following OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect standards. Each authentication or authorization request results in Logto issuing tokens representing the user's authentication or authorization status. For billing, only access tokens are counted (ID tokens and refresh tokens are excluded). Tokens are issued when users sign in, backend APIs are authorized with RBAC, organization access is requested, machine-to-machine authorization occurs, token exchanges happen, or refresh tokens are used.
- Should I use the organization feature or create multiple Logto tenant?
- Logto's organization feature is designed for multi-tenant applications where one universal user pool allows a single identity to access multiple organizations. If you have multiple clients each requiring a separate user pool, create a Logto tenant for each. Pricing is based on each Logto tenant, with each starting at $24 plus add-ons.
- Is it possible to downgrade to Free plan?
- Yes, you have flexibility to manage your plan. However, each plan offers different features and quotas, so you must meet the criteria of the lower-tier plan before downgrading. Once eligible, your current billing cycle ends instantly and a new billing cycle begins under the new plan.
- What happens if I decide to stop using Logto?
- Before discontinuing, consider safely migrating your critical data and resources to an alternative platform, deleting any unnecessary data and your associated tenant. You can reach out to Logto for expert assistance during this process.
