- OneSignal's paid plans have a fixed platform fee and variable usage fee. For mobile push notifications, they charge based on monthly active mobile users with unlimited sends. For web push, they charge based on subscribers with unlimited sends. For email and SMS, they charge based on send volume. The Growth plan is month-to-month, while Professional and Enterprise plans are annual contracts with customizable volume-based pricing.
- What is a monthly active user (MAU) for mobile push?
- A monthly active user is a mobile subscription record that has been active in your mobile app within the last 30 days, regardless of whether it has opted in for mobile push notifications. This includes Android, iOS, Chrome Extensions, macOS, Windows, Windows Phone, Alexa, and Amazon Fire devices, but does not include web push, email, or SMS. It includes mobile devices that have not opted in to push since in-app messages can be delivered to all active app users.
